The Suction and Pressure sides both Measure about 2-3/8" Across the threads and is called 1 ½”!
This is a 48 Frame Wet End and the Thru-Bolts are about 5 1/4" apart in a cross pattern and 3 5/8" Side to Side....Also the bolt heads on the thru-bolts are 1/4" on a 48 frame motor..IF your bolt heads are 5/16" you have a 56fr motor and this wet end will not work..

Description

This part is a Complete FMHP 2.0HP Aqua-Flo 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" (Which measures about 2 3/8" Across the Threads) Side discharge 48 frame wet end for FMHP pumps. This wet end is used with a 48 frame motor that would have about 10.0 Amps on High Speed on a 230V motor and would be about 16Amps on a 115V Motor The motor used may be either a single or dual speed. The wet end may be rotated 90 degrees to change the discharge position. The complete wet end includes: the volute, seal, impeller, wear ring, suction cover, suction cover o-ring, drain plug, drain plug o-ring and suction cover screws.

Note: You always base your choice of HP on the Amperage of the motor it is going on see the chart below.. a 48 frame motor measures about 5 1/2" across the motor and will have 1/4" heads on the thru-bolts and will measure about 5 3/16" between the thru-bolts in a cross pattern and 56 frame motor measures about 6 1/4" across the motor and will have 5/16" heads on the thru-bolts and will measure about 5 7/8" between the thru-bolts in a cross pattern..
