Sundance® 980, 880 & 780 Series Diverter Cap & O-Ring Kit – New Style (2017+)


Replacement Diverter Cap and O-Ring Kit for Select Sundance® Spas


This replacement diverter cap and O-ring kit is designed for select Sundance® 980, 880, and 780 Series spas manufactured in 2017 and later. This is the new-style diverter valve design and is intended for Sundance® spas only.


Kit Includes


(1) Small O-Ring – Fits onto the diverter stem and seals against the inside of the cap.


(1) Medium O-Ring – Fits onto the disc located just below the edge of the diverter stem.


(1) Large O-Ring – Seals around the outside of the diverter cap.


(1) Diverter Cap – Replacement cap for the new-style Sundance® diverter valve.


Important: This listing includes the diverter cap and three O-rings only. Any additional parts shown in the product photos are not included but may be available in our other listings.

Installation Note


On some older diverter valve bodies, the internal plastic edge may become slightly distorted or develop a raised lip over time. This can make installing the disc portion of the diverter difficult.


If the disc does not slide into the existing valve body properly, it may be necessary to carefully trim a small amount of material from the inside edge of the valve body using a razor knife to remove the raised lip caused by age and wear.


Remove only the material necessary for proper fitment. Avoid damaging the valve body or sealing surfaces.
