Description

Note: Before You Buy This Part be sure it is correct..It would be very rare for this to be your heater nut unless you have Swim Spa with a very large 3" heater... These are found in some smaller hot tubs but is very rare. Watch the video and Check the measurements before you purchase this.. 2" is the most common and we have those in our store.

This part is a 2 1/2" Heater Nut Kit which includes both parts that fit together for use with a 2 1/2" Heater. Note: You need to measure your T gasket bead part that fits into the groove to be sure you get the right gasket there are (2) different groove widths. We offer both gasket groove widths with this part in our store this one is theTherm style and is 3 1/8" the other is a Waterway style and is 2 7/8" Center to center.  The Heater Flange Nut slides over the heater tube, then slip the white split nut on to hold in place. If your plumbing is 2" or 2 1/2" and your heater is 2 1/2" this part is correct. This version is the 4th most popular version. 2" is the most popular, 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" is 2nd most popular and 1 1/2" X 2" is 3rd most popular. This part is used in hot tubs to plumb a heater tube to a heater union. Note: The Heater tube in pictures is NOT included!! ASP RMG-02-674, ASP 86-02370, ASP 86-02360

We have done a lot of extra work with videos and pictures to prevent you from choosing the wrong part..
This is a chart for the outside of your plumbing pipes so you can figure out what size parts to order. Note: The actual size a part is called is not the actual size of the hole in the part it is really the Inside Diameter of the pipe that would glue into that part which doesn’t make sense, since you cannot see inside the pipe. Therefore I am giving you the measurements of the outside of the pipe so you know what size part to order.  For example a part that ½” plumbing would glue in to would actually measure ¾” inside the hole of the part and on the outside of the pipe that glues into the part.
Pipe Outside Diameter chart:
½” Outside Diameter is ¾”
¾” Outside Diameter is 1”
1” Outside Diameter is 1 ¼”
I have never seen 1 ¼” in Hot Tubs
1 ½” Outside Diameter is 1 ⅞”
2” Outside Diameter is 2 ⅜”
2 ½” Outside Diameter is 2 ⅞”
Threaded Parts Outside Diameter Chart:
1” Pump Thread Outside Diameter is 2”
1” Pump Union Thread Inside Diameter is 1 13/16”
1 1/2” Heater Union or Pump Thread Outside Diameter is 2 7/16”
1 1/2” Heater Nut or Pump Union Inside Diameter is 2 5/16”
2” Heater Union or Pump Thread Outside Diameter is 3 1/16”
2” Heater Nut or Pump Union Inside Diameter is 2 15/16”
2 1/2” Heater Union or Pump Thread Outside Diameter is 3 11/16”
2 1/2” Heater Nut or Pump Union Inside Diameter is 3 9/16”
