Description

This part is a PS-1000 Seal Kit with Silicon and a Seal Install Tool. This Seal is used Primarily in Waterway Brand Wet Ends. It is 1 3/8" Across the back of the Spring Seal part that goes into the volute or wetend back and the Ceramic & Rubber part that goes into the impeller is 1 1/4". The Hole in both parts is about 5/8". The Silicon is used to install seal into the wet end volute and the impeller to keep it stationary and not allow it to spin. We are all including a Seal install tool to help you push the spring side of the seal into the volute. 
Note: This Seal Fits Waterway Executive, Hi-Flo, Spa Flo, Iron Might, 1 1/2" Center Discharge, E Series and Workman Pump Wet Ends..
 
NOTE: This Seal does not fit a Waterway Viper or EX2 Wet End..
To Install you should put silicon sealant on the back of the Metal part and gently push it into place with the included seal tool. Also the rubber part can use a light coat of silicon to slide it into place in the impeller. 
 
We offer these alone, with The Professor's Silly Juice and install tool and/or with an Impeller in a kit so look in our store.

Please note: When you have a seal leaking in most cases you will need an impellor because the leak caused water to get into the metal shaft area that the impeller is screwed onto and expands and damages the impellor.     I was able to identify the pump model I had and what seal kit to order by using the info provided on the website. The video showed me exactly how to remove the water pump from the motor and install the new seals in the pump. Works great and saved me a service call.

    had all the pieces and tools necessary to seal, insert and seat the seals. site info made it clear that I was getting the right parts for my pump. once the pump was open and the impeller removed it only took minutes to replace the seal and re-assembly was a breeze.
