Description

This Part is a 5.5KW Titanium Heater Element with (2) Heater Union Gaskets and a 1/2Oz Tube of Special Hot Tub Formulated Silicon Sealer to Seal the Threads. This Heater Element features the bend in the back of the element needed to fit the Balboa M-7 heater tubes. This also fits Gecko, ACC, and most other standard 15" Hot Tub Heater Tubes.

This Gasket measures 2 1/2" center to center on the lip and it fits almost all heater unions...

Note: When testing this heater if it trips the breaker simply unplug it and if the breaker stays on plug back in and if it trips this heater is the cause if it is not a breaker trip issue then measure between the two terminals with an Ohm meter it should measure about 10.5K ohms. If it measures 0K it is open. If it is not tripping the breaker and doesn't measure open then the heater is not bad look for other issues that cause no heat Like a Pressure Switch, Stopped up filter, No water movement, Open circuit on board etc…..

    Quick and easy

Posted by Unknown on Mar 30th 2023

My initial problem was my GFCI was tripping instantly on reset. I watched a video on trouble shooting this problem by eliminating individual components. I found the heater to be the culprit. I was surprised how easy it was to replace this heater element. I first watched the video on Hot Tub Parts of America on replacement then ordered the part. The video is top notch and included various tips along the way . The element is great looked of very high quality. I actually had scheduled a Tech to do the work be he was two weeks behind. I decided to do it myself and in about 2 hours if was back on line.

Great price and easy to install

Posted by Tim on Oct 15th 2020

After watching the video on how to replace this heater element I decided to give it a try. Everything fit perfectly and took only about an hour to remove the old one and install the new one. It actually took longer to drain the tub and refill it. The only thing that I had to do was grind down a 3/8" wrench so it would fit in between the two nuts that hold down the heater power bands.

Heater element died? Might as well upgrade!

Spa Guy and his company are the best! Videos showed all I needed to know. My GFCI was tripping and sure enough it was the heater. Stock heater quit, diagnosed and confirmed by watching the videos, ordered the titanium element as an upgrade from the stock part. Sitting pretty at 102F!

    A monkey could do this...

Posted by Bobcat on Jul 24th 2019

I’m telling you, a monkey could Have made this repair! After watching the spa guy video on troubleshooting and installing a new heater element then talking to the spa guy himself, I ordered the kit he recommended. Spa guy explains everything down to the small details. A monkey with s few tools could have followed the repair instructions and been soaking in the hot tub that night. Spa guy is the best. I wish other parts folks made similar easy to follow videos. So don’t hesitate to make your own repairs, otherwise you can make a trip to the zoo for help. Just may need a few bananas...

    just like on youtube

The you tube video(s) is great for this heater coil. Getting the old heater coil out was as hard as they indicated it may be due to corrosion and installation was quite easy. I bought the high $ hopefully longer lasting titanium heater because the price difference is negligible when one considers the effort and expense of emptying the hot tub.
