The wire connections are here.. (H) for High Speed (C) for Common which is the White Wire and (L) for Low Speed.. Note: Red is usually High Speed and Black Low speed but not always so make sure you look at the position of the original wire before you unhook.. An easy way is to take a picture with your phone.. Description
This pump s a 115V (2) Speed 13.3 Amp High Speed and 4.1Amp Low Speed 48 frame 2" x 2" XP2 pump and motor... The 2" inlet and outlet measure about 3" across the threads... Keep in mind if you choose this high amperage pump and have a tub with a wall style 115V plug this pump may draw too much amperage to work with your heater on a wall plug.. Always match the amperage when choosing a replacement 115v pump with the previous motor or you could create some over amperage issues with your hot tub..
Spa Pump Features:
- Fine tuned impeller that moves water through the system with maximum performance
- 2" suction and discharge
- 48 and 56 frame versions
- Thermally protected to extend life expectancy of motor

Read this information to Help to determine the Frame and HP.. The way you can determine whether your pump is a 48 or 56 Frame is by measuring the width of the motor. A 48 Frame motor will measure 5 3/4" wide across the back and a 56 Frame will measure about 6 1/2" wide across the back.
For 230 Volt Pumps Look on the label of the motor for the two amperages if you have a 2 speed pump, if its a single speed look for a single amperage. It will look something like this: 10.0/3.5 The 10.0 is the high amperage in this example.
8.0 = 1 HP
10.0 = 2 HP
12.0 = 3 HP
14.0 = 4 HP
16.0 = 5 HP
For 115 Volt Pumps Look on the label of the motor for the two amperages if you have a 2 speed pump, if its a single speed look for a single amperage. It will look something like this: 10.8/2.8 The 10.8 is the high amperage in this example and would equate to a 1 HP.
8.0 = .5 HP
9.0-10.0 = .75 HP
10.0-13.00 = 1 HP
13.5-15.0 = 1.5 HP
16.0-20.0 = 2 HP
Note: These Amperages are Averages so find the Amperage closest to your pumps Amperage. Note for the Note: 2HP 115V pumps are very rare, do not order one thinking you can add more power. This pump or even a 1.5HP pump will cause your PLug N Play tub to damage the electrical system, Plug, Wires and even the pump motor.
NOTE: Your pump or motor may say a different Horse Power than what you see here, DO NOT go by what is listed on the motor, go by the amperage on the label.
NOTE for the NOTE: TRUST ME ON THIS, everybody lies about their Horse Power. But the amperage does not lie. Most people are told they have 5 HP pumps, if you do the math two 5 HP pumps at 16 amps is 32 amps. Plus a 5.5 KW heater is 21 amps. That means with both pumps running and the heater on it will draw 53 AMPS. I bet your HOT TUB is on a 50 AMP breaker. Therefore contrary to what you have been told you DO NOT have a 5 or 6 or 7 Hp pump.

Great Pump and Service
Buck was a tremendous help. On the phone he guided me through identifying my old pump. I emailed him a few pictures and he told me exactly what I needed. It arrived in two days, and fit exactly like the old one. Back in business, just before a big storm and cold snap. Much thanks!
