Note: If your WUA400 Pump has a 6HP sticker on it you do not have a 6hp Pump as there is no such thing.. You were lied to buy the manufacturer.. There is only one WUA400 Wet End and this one is it..

This 4 Horse Power 56 Frame Pump Wet End fits Intertek LX Brand Pump Motors only. These pumps usually have the part number WUA-400, WP-400 or LP-400 on the label. Watch the video for instruction on how to install this part and also how to determine if this is the correct part. It is about 7 1/4"" across the face of the pump, it measures about 7 3/8" from the bottom to the top of the pressure side of the volute, it also measures 4 13/16" from the back to front edge. The Suction and Pressure side thread fittings are called 2" x 2" but measure 3" from the edge of the thread to the edge of the thread. 

This wet end comes complete with the Impeller, Seal and Wear Ring already installed.. 

NOTE: This Wet End looks a lot like an Aqua-Flo and a CMP Wet End but they do not interchange! 

If your original Wet End has a Bleeder Barb and the heads of the Bleeder Screws in your old wet end have a spot for a flat screw driver you will need a new bleeder barb... If the original has a wing nut style you already have the newer style bleeder barb and will only need a new one if your original one breaks..

Note: This Wet End Fits Guangdong Chinese LX and LP series Pumps only Some Pump Part numbers are as follows: (WUA400-II, WUA400-I)  (LP400) (WP400-II/,400-I)

 
To Install this wet end you will have to loosen the thru bolts and unscrew the impeller. There are time where you will have to disassemble the motor in order to loosen the impeller because they get stuck when they leak. Note: We offer parts for this wet end and complete pumps in our store.

Please note: When you have a seal leaking in most cases you will need an impellor because the leak caused water to get into the metal shaft area that the impeller is screwed onto and expands and damages the impellor.     Incredibly easy process, starting with the staff who are friendly as well as Incredibly knowledgeable. They helped me make sure I was getting the correct part. It makes the process even easier with available videos for pretty much anything you are doing with a hot tub. Buy with confidence.

    Exact match with improved impeller

    Spa Guy's videos enabled me to determine the correct replacement and removal/installation techniques. The new impeller design appears better designed and built and hopeful for long service life. Both pump impellers split into two pieces, one even sliced through the pump housing causing a significant leak. Local spa repair shop discouraged me from even attempting the repair and refused to sell me a pump... glad I found your shop online!

    You guys were extremely helpful in getting me the right part, and answered all my newbie questions. One thing that I didn't see in the instruction videos was how to get the new wet end apart, so that I could attach the impeller to the shaft. Ended up reversing all the thru bolts on the motor and mounting the wet end opposite the intended side. That gave me enough leverage to (gently) pry apart the wet end.

    I love you guys. Between your videos and help when you call in I don't think there is any problem with my hot tub that I couldn't fix. This wet end came complete and it was perfect, at a great price too. I'm sure if I had a service tech come out I'd be looking a $400.00 bill. Instead I was up and running in less than an hour for under $90.00. You just can't beat that!

    Exact match to my part after identifying my pump in the videos. Videos are super helpful and makes the job easy for anyone. Spoke with my Jacuzzi dealer first for a full replacement motor, decided to buy the wet end here and do the replacement myself saved $900. I could not recommend this more.
