Anchor type handrails are often crushed at the end by the underground anchor causing the handrail to loosen and become unstable. When hammered into the crushed end of the handrail, the Handrail Stabilizing Plug rounds it out and provides a permanent supporting surface for the anchor to tighten against.Space age carbon fiber is stronger than aluminum.
